Individual Counseling
Individual counseling provides a confidential and supportive space to explore your experiences, build insight, and develop tools to navigate challenges. Through evidence-based approaches and a collaborative therapeutic relationship, sessions focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, and fostering emotional resilience. Together, we will work toward meaningful change, healing, and personal growth at a pace that feels right for you.

Art Therapy
Art therapy integrates creative expression with evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support emotional healing and personal growth. Through drawing, painting, and other art-making processes, clients can explore feelings and experiences in a safe, supportive space. Art therapy is especially beneficial for children and teens who may find it easier to express themselves through creativity — but it is equally powerful for adults seeking deeper self-awareness, emotional regulation, and trauma processing. No artistic skill is required; the focus is on expression, not perfection, making art therapy a meaningful tool for all ages.

Disordered Eating & Body Dysmorphia
Eating disorders and body image struggles can feel overwhelming and isolating, but you don’t have to navigate them alone. These challenges are often connected to emotions, experiences, and patterns that develop over time — and therapy offers a safe and supported space to understand and heal them.
Therapy is available for children, teens, and adults, and family involvement can be incorporated when helpful. Recovery is possible — and healing begins with feeling understood, supported, and empowered to move forward one step at a time.

EMDR & Trauma
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help the brain process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. Through guided eye movements or bilateral stimulation, EMDR supports the brain in reducing emotional intensity, shifting unhelpful beliefs, and resolving memories that feel “stuck.” This approach allows individuals to heal without needing to talk through every detail of the past, making it a gentle and effective treatment for trauma, anxiety, and overwhelming experiences.

Couples & Family Counseling
Couples and family therapy focuses on identifying and addressing relational patterns that impact communication, emotional functioning, and overall system dynamics. This treatment modality supports partners and family members in developing healthier interaction styles, improving emotional regulation, and strengthening problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Sessions emphasize clear communication, boundary setting, and increased insight into the roles, expectations, and attachment patterns influencing relational challenges. Treatment is collaborative and goal-oriented, with interventions tailored to the unique needs and structure of the relationship system.

Addiction Counseling
Addictions counseling provides structured, evidence-based support for individuals working to reduce or change their use of substances or addictive behaviors. This approach recognizes that addiction is often connected to trauma, stress, emotional pain, or unmet needs — not a lack of willpower. Treatment focuses on understanding the function of substance use, strengthening coping skills, addressing underlying emotional and environmental factors, and building healthier patterns for long-term recovery.
Care is individualized and can support people at any stage of change — whether exploring sobriety, developing harm-reduction strategies, or maintaining long-term recovery. The goal is to help clients regain control, foster resilience, and create a life where they feel empowered, connected, and supported in their healing journey.

What does this mean?
RMP Counseling & Creative Healing is an out-of-network private practice, which means I do not bill insurance directly.
However, I can provide a superbill — an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
Coverage depends on your plan, so I recommend asking your provider about out-of-network mental health benefits.
We have partnered with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use this tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.
